Trachycarpus Wagnerianus

I've seen pictures of this palm in its natural habitat with the leaves loaded with snow.
A very hardy palm and gorgeous as well.

I love the sound of palm fronds as they lightly brush against each other in a gentle breeze. I find it very soothing for some unknown reason.

  3. This looks like a good shade tree.

  4. LL, I wouldn't consider it a shade tree because no matter how tall it gets, the foliage doesn't spread out like other palms. It's a marvellous palm because it doesn't need water, doesn't mind scorching sun and can withstand snow.
