Adenium obesum flower

This flower was a real surprise because I didn't have a clue what type of flower if any would be produced by this succulent. I just wanted a specimen of this type of succulent. The swollen water storing trunk is a characteristic.
This is the first flower of many buds getting ready to open.

  1. Wow ... What an amazing assortment of flowering plants. The cacti are beautiful and the adenium obesum (presumably so called because of its fat stem) has gorgeous flowers.
