Cycas revoluta
This is one of the most common cycads, also known as Sago Palm although it isn't a palm. The new leaves sprout from the center as you can see. When they flower, it is a spectacular cone that also sprouts from its center. You need a male and a female plant to get cross fertilization. The male and females both put out cones.
