I would like to share the joy and fascination of plants in my garden.
I had to do a Yahoo search because I've never heard of a Hebe, I'll have to look for one next time I go the nursery, we usually get Australian and/or New Zealand plants in Arizona because we have similar climates.
I think Hebe Orphan Annie is native to New Zealand. They are new to Australia.
My Hebe Orphan Annie is in a hanging basket and the leaves are getting, what I can only describe as, a black dirt over the lower leaves. Is this a fungus and how do I get rid of it?
Anon, I'm no garden guru but fungus can be treated with an off the shelf product that targets fungus.
Apparently my Hebe has a "sooty mould" problem and the "cure" is to spray it with "white oil" so here's hoping and thanks Lexcen!!!!!
